It’s Valentine’s Day! A day I don’t even like in general… I keep experiencing the same problem – what to buy for my darling! Although, the offer for this holiday is huge I keep struggling… The only thing I am happy about when it comes to Valentine’s Day are all the gorgeous heart manicures I can create! Oh YES! I love hearts… always… everywhere… but unfortunately, they are not always appropriate! This time I have chosen to move a step forward from the traditional red hearts and I am sharing my LOVE MANICURE with you today! Check it below!
Love Manicure for Valentine’s Day
This year I have chosen two contrast colors, a darker plum purple and another nudish, brown/purple. The first one is Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) in shade Vintage Plum. This color is actually so similar to my shade (Zoya – Tara), that I can’t even explain you. If I catch some time, I will try to make a comparison post, so you can see what I am talking about. The brush is wide and it makes the application really a piece of cake. The lighter base color is Lancome – Gris Rivoli. This polish is such a mystery to me. It is an elegant brownish nude with some purple tint. I guess it depends on surrouding colors, how you actually see it in the end.
After my base polishes were dry I created a stamping decal with MoYou London Festive Plate 20. For stamping purposes I used Mundo de Unas Chocolate. I painted the bird using Zoya – Alicia (for the sparkle part), and one of the Kiko grey polishes. When the decal was ready I transfered it to my ring finger. Thumb and middle finger images are from the same MoYou London plate stamped with Dance Legend Pink stamping polish and YSL – Vintage Plum. To give my manicure a shiny touch I applied one coat of Poshe top coat – I couldn’t get rid of all the bubbles this time! 🙁 See more pictures of my love manicure below!
How do you like my mani? I am really curious what is on your nails today! Please, feel free to show me – can’t wait to see it! 🙂 I am preparing more content for you soon and I am attending my first ever fashion event this week (I know, I was surprised as well, but I am so excited!) so make sure to follow me on my social media! Until then… :*
