Long time no see, right? Well, I have a great news… I got a job, so I was really busy this week with keeping my body and mind on a functioning level, because the week was quite exhausting. I think I will need a couple of weeks to get back to the working rhythm, but I truly hope this will happen sooner than expected. Also, my young boy struggled this week because of the clock change and he keeps getting up an hour earlier than he used to. In order to keep my face as fresh as possible I was using the last millilitres of Vichy Idealia Gel Cream, which was sent to me couple of months ago. Now, I think I have all the data needed to write my opinion about it and give you a chance to win one for yourself. Let’s have a look…
Vichy Idealia Gel Cream
Firstly, I would like to send you back to my post about the Idealia range (click HERE), so you can get a better idea, what I will be talking about today. I like Vichy skin care products a lot actually, and Ideali range worked great for me in the past. Especially the night cream – Idealia Skin Sleep. Now about this Vichy Idealia Gel Cream I have quite mixed feelings. Firstly, the product is suitable for mixed to oily skin. My skin is normal, dehydrated, with a bit of oily T-zone now and then. The texture is nice, reminds me of Skin Sleep, and the smell is just perfect to awaken the senses. It hydrates well, there is no doubt, but I still prefer some other hydrating ranges from Vichy. The skin is also very nourished and soft after the use – the wrinkles seem to be less visible and the skin itself is really elastic. So, the long-term result is super positive. On the other hand, I don’t like the instant results. Why? I am really sorry to say this, but there is just no glow! My skin is shining like a summer sun and my T-zone just doesn’t like it. It is just too much, if you ask me. Also, my makeup seems more cakey when I am using this cream. I have to admit, that I was using it only when I wasn’t applying any makeup over it, because the look was really unacceptable. Maybe it works better for people with other types of skin, but it was a bit of disappointmend for me when talking about the look itself. As said, I have a battle going on between the long-term and short-term results, and I think there is no winner so far.
Although it didn’t work for me as expected, I am giving you a chance now to win one and try it yourself. Maybe it will be perfect for your type of skin. I truly hope it works better for oily skin. All you have to do is to leave a comment or send me an e-mail with an answer to the following question: Long-term vs. short-term results of Vichy Idealia Gel Cream? Which one is more important to you and why? It’s open internationally and it closes on November 15th, 2016. Good luck!
